The Strymon Volante is the most overrated tape pedal of the last decade. I've owned three. Thirty hours with the latest firmware. It's a perfectly fine machine that does a perfectly fine job. It's also a $400 box that the El Capistan does better for less, and the JAM Delay Llama Mk3 does with character for less still.
